The Nissan Primastar 20Ltr/8kg Underfloor Vapour Caratank Kit (8402(3)) is a fully integrated solution for campervan and motorhome owners seeking to upgrade their gas system with a permanent underfloor LPG tank. By relocating the gas storage beneath the chassis, you free up valuable interior space, allowing the original gas locker to be repurposed for storage.
This system uses a British-made 200mm diameter 20Ltr LPG tank, securely mounted via laser-cut, purpose-built steel brackets and box section designed specifically for the Nissan Primastar platform. The tank delivers up to 8kg of usable gas (16L at 80% fill) - ideal for cooking, heating, or refrigeration.
Included in the kit is an LED dashboard-mounted gas level gauge, a sill-mounted bayonet filler for external refuelling, and a remote-mounted 30mbar regulator, making this system fully compliant for gas usage while driving when paired with crash-sensing regulators (optional).
Everything needed for a complete installation is included - from pigtails and pipe clips to fasteners and under-tank rubber supports. The system is easy to install and can be enhanced with stone guard protection spray for long-term corrosion resistance.
