The Votronic 0477 Charger VAC 1230 F 3A II is an advanced mains charger from the VAC-F II series, specifically engineered for vehicle installation and compliant with the DIN 14679 fire brigade standard. This charger is designed to ensure reliable charging and maintenance of both auxiliary and starter batteries in emergency vehicles, providing peace of mind during critical operations.
Featuring protective insulation (protection class II) and a 2-core mains cable, the charger eliminates the need for a protective conductor, allowing for straightforward installation. In the case of a single mains installation in the vehicle, the electric mains cable can be upgraded to a heavy-duty H07RN-F cable (2x2.5 mm²), as stipulated by DIN 14679, supplement C. The mains terminals are easily accessible, ensuring seamless connectivity.
This charger comes with a continental 2-pin plug for the supplied 230V power lead. Please note that it is not suitable for use with LiFePO4 lithium batteries, making it exclusively designed for compatible battery types.
