The Votronic 0471 Charger VAC 1215 F 3A II is an advanced mains charger engineered for vehicle installation, specifically tailored to meet the rigorous requirements of the DIN 14679 fire brigade standard. It is designed to efficiently charge and maintain auxiliary and starter batteries in emergency vehicles. Compatible with Lead Acid, AGM, and Gel batteries, this charger is a reliable choice for various emergency vehicle applications.
The VAC-F II series chargers come with protective insulation (protection class II) and a 2-core mains cable, eliminating the need for a protective conductor. This universal application capability allows for easy installation. In cases of a single mains installation in the vehicle, the electric mains cable can be replaced by the heavy H07RN-F cable, 2x2.5 mm², as prescribed by DIN 14679, supplement C. The mains terminals in the unit are easily accessible for straightforward connectivity.
Designed for vehicle use, the charger includes a continental 2-pin plug on the supplied 230V power lead.
Please note that this charger is not suitable for use with LiFePO4 lithium batteries.
