In typical use, a solar panel controller or mains charger maintains the leisure battery, while the AMT12-2 maintains the starter battery with a maximum current flow of 4A. It is designed to keep the starter battery at 11.5V and the leisure battery at 11.7V, safeguarding both.
With a minimal current draw (less than 2mA), the AMT12-2 draws only around 1Ah every 20 days, making it extremely efficient and ideal for long periods of inactivity. Compatible with all lead-acid (wet, AGM, Gel) and lithium batteries (LiFePO4), this charger works seamlessly with the latest stop/start and Euro 5/6 regenerative braking technologies.
