PowerAssist Technology
The PowerAssist feature prevents overload of a limited AC power source, such as a generator or shore power connection, by:

  • Reducing Battery Charging: When an overload risk is detected, the MultiPlus-II automatically reduces battery charging to prevent tripping the supply source.
  • Boosting Output: If necessary, the inverter supplements the AC source using power from the batteries, effectively boosting the output to support high-demand loads.

This dual functionality guarantees stable power delivery, protecting the system from overload and maintaining continuous power even under heavy loads.

Energy Storage System (ESS) Integration
The MultiPlus-II plays a pivotal role in a Victron ESS setup, enabling seamless integration with:
