The Truma DuoControl Crash Safe Gas Regulator 8mm is a single-stage gas pressure regulator designed for liquefied gas (propane or butane) used in caravans and motorhomes. This advanced gas regulator features an automatic changeover function, ensuring that your gas appliances receive a consistent and reliable 30 mbar output pressure, even when switching between gas cylinders.
One of the standout features of the DuoControl CS is its integrated crash sensor. This safety feature interrupts the gas flow if the vehicle experiences a deceleration of 4.0 g ± 1.0 g in the event of an accident, providing an extra layer of security for users while driving. Additionally, the automatic PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) protects your gas system from excessive pressure by releasing overpressure into the air and automatically closing once the pressure has normalised.
This vertical fitting model with 8mm outlet is easy to install, with a male thread M20 x 1.5 (G.13) inlet connection and an olive screw connection 8mm outlet. The regulator is built for durability and can withstand temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It’s CE approved, ensuring compliance with European standards for gas safety.
Please note that the DuoControl CS is not suitable for use in closed rooms, boats, or EX Zone 0 environments (e.g., tankers). Also, its use in mobile homes is prohibited in Germany.
