This solid-state device is designed to prevent the total discharge of lead-acid batteries, which can significantly damage the cells and shorten battery life. The device can be programmed to disconnect at a lower voltage to maximise battery usage while still protecting it. Additionally, it offers a timed version that can disconnect after a set period once the ignition is turned off. The 40A unit features M6 brass bolts for secure connection and is equipped with a manual shutdown facility for enhanced control. It also has an alarm and disconnect delay function to alert operators before cutting power.
