The Victron MultiPlus 12/2000/80-32 is an advanced inverter charger that integrates several crucial functions into one compact and efficient package. This model offers a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging with hybrid PowerAssist technology, and exceptional system integration features.
One of the standout features of the MultiPlus 12/2000 is the PowerAssist technology, which prevents the overload of limited AC sources such as generators or shore power connections. If the system detects a potential overload, it automatically reduces the battery charging rate or boosts the output of the generator or shore supply using stored battery power.
When grid or shore power fails, the UPS function ensures uninterrupted AC power, automatically activating the inverter and taking over the load within 20 milliseconds. This fast transition ensures sensitive devices like computers and electronic equipment remain operational without disruption.
For applications requiring higher power output, the MultiPlus can operate in parallel with up to six units, providing virtually unlimited power. Additionally, three-phase or split-phase operation can be configured for more complex systems.
Remote monitoring and control are made possible when paired with a GX device (such as Cerbo GX), allowing users to manage their system locally via LAN or remotely through the VRM app or the VRM portal from anywhere in the world.
