The GX LTE 4G-A is a cellular modem designed for use with Victron Energy's GX range of monitoring products. It ensures that your system stays connected to the VRM Portal, providing remote monitoring capabilities when Wi-Fi or hard-wired internet connections aren't available. Supporting 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, the GX LTE 4G-E is ideal for remote locations or mobile systems where traditional internet access isn't feasible. This model, part number GSM100200400, is specifically tailored for use in the North America.
With a built-in GPS receiver, the GX LTE 4G-E allows for tracking and the ability to set up geo-fences when paired with the optional GPS antenna (sold separately). The system can be monitored and controlled via the VRM Portal, giving you complete visibility over your Victron Energy devices. The included mini rod antenna supports 2G/3G/4G networks and is suitable for indoor use.
Please note that this device is intended for internet access only for the GX device itself. Sharing the connection with other devices (laptops, phones, etc.) is not supported. For connecting other devices, a mobile router like the GlocalMe Mini Turbo U30 is recommended.
