The Trio Gas Alarm is a reliable and efficient device designed to detect multiple gases, including LPG (Butane/Propane), Narcotic Gas (such as ether-based gases), and Carbon Monoxide. When wired and installed according to the manufacturer's guidelines, the alarm is easy to use—simply turn it on for continuous monitoring. It comes equipped with three LED indicators (green, yellow, red) and an audible alarm system to warn users of any gas leaks or circuit failures.
The device is ideal for smaller spaces like caravans or motorhomes, providing standalone gas leak protection with its built-in sensor. The open collector outlet can be used to activate external devices, like a relay, when a gas leak is detected. This control can be set to either static or impulsive control through a jumper switch.
The unit also features a self-testing process upon powering up, where the system checks its components, followed by a brief sensor calibration process. Once the calibration is complete, the unit is ready for continuous operation. The alarm should be mounted at a height of 50–90 cm from the floor for optimal gas leak detection.
