The Changeover Switch Gas Regulator 30mBar offers a practical solution for ensuring continuous gas flow in motorhomes and caravans. This two-stage regulator is designed to improve pressure stability while regulating gas from red vapour tanks, alu bottles, and LPGSHOP composite refillable cylinders. It is particularly beneficial for mobile units, where uninterrupted gas supply is crucial.
The automatic changeover function ensures that when the service cylinder runs out of gas, the regulator automatically switches to the reserve cylinder, allowing the gas appliance to continue functioning without interruption. The full-empty indicator on the bonnet of the regulator provides a visual indication of the service cylinder’s status, changing from green to red when the service cylinder is empty.
To operate, the inlet connectors feature M20 1.5 parallel threads (W20), which is the caravanning standard, while the outlet uses an 8mm copper pipe compression fitting. The outlet pressure of 30mBar makes this regulator suitable for most appliances used in motorhomes and caravans.
Additionally, the regulator is equipped with a bracket for easy mounting on the bulkhead, and the inlet should be positioned upwards and higher than the bottle outlet for optimal performance.
