The system centres around a 60w solar panel, which comes with a robust, adjustable aluminium stand suitable for ground or flat roof mounting. This multi-position stand ensures the panel is always at the optimum angle for maximum sunlight capture, whether it's summer or winter. The solar panel connects directly to the weatherproof battery box, which houses a high-performance 42Ah sealed deep cycle solar battery and a 20Ah charge controller.
Power from the battery is then fed into the supplied 300w inverter, which features a UK 3-pin socket for connecting standard appliances via a multi-gang extension cable (not supplied). A 12v 'power out' plug and socket is also integrated into the battery box for direct use with 12v devices.
The Solar Power Station 250 generates up to 360 watt-hours per day, typically powering lighting and appliances for two to four hours per day. For longer run times or higher power demands, consider upgrading to the Hubi Solar Power Station Classic 500 or 750, or adding a Power Station Expansion Kit.
