Unlike traditional battery combiners that rely on a fixed time delay for voltage-based switching, the Cyrix-ct intelligently tracks the general voltage trend (increasing or decreasing) and reverses previous actions only if the trend has consistently reversed over a certain period. This intelligent battery monitoring prevents unwanted switching, ensuring reliable system operation.
The Cyrix-ct 12/24 also offers overheating protection, disengaging in the event of excessive temperatures and re-engaging once it cools down. Its dual power supply ensures functionality even when one battery is too low to operate the relay. In emergency situations, it features Start Assist, manually enabling parallel battery connection for 30 seconds to help start a system.
