The Dodo Sound Stopper Pro 16mm is the ultimate soundproofing solution, combining four expertly engineered layers into one high-performance mat. Developed and manufactured in the UK to automotive-grade standards, this product is designed to handle extreme environments while delivering superior acoustic performance.
The mat’s unique construction includes two layers of high-grade open cell acoustic foam, a decoupled Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) barrier, and a resilient polyurethane (PU) top layer. This combination delivers exceptional low-frequency blocking, vibration absorption, and thermal insulation, all in a flexible and durable format.
The added black PU surface layer not only provides a factory-style finish, but also serves as a protective barrier against moisture and oil—extending the life of the underlying foam and enhancing installation aesthetics.
At 14mm thick, each sheet offers effective sound blocking while remaining flexible enough for use on floors, bulkheads, boots, and vertical panels. With fire rating to BS476 Class “0” and tested to ISO 3795:1989, it is safe for interior vehicle use and also suitable for home or industrial soundproofing projects such as lining doors or enclosing machinery.
For best performance, use with Dodo spray adhesive or edge tape.
