Silent Coat Sound Absorber 15mm is a specially formulated polyurethane acoustic foam engineered to deliver excellent sound absorption, particularly in the higher frequency range. With its egg-box style texture, it increases the surface area, providing 30–40% more sound absorption than flat foam panels.
The pressure-sensitive foam compresses between panels, effectively filling gaps to eliminate trim rattle and internal resonance. It is especially effective behind speaker systems as a rear wave diffuser, and is equally useful for lining vehicle interiors to combat echo and road noise.
This sound absorber is self-adhesive, water resistant, and fire retardant (FMVSS302 compliant), making it a reliable and durable solution for automotive and domestic acoustic treatment.
