Silent Coat Sound Absorber 7mm is a polyurethane acoustic foam specifically designed to target and reduce high-frequency sounds, such as wind noise and mechanical whine. Its memory foam properties allow the material to compress between panels, sealing gaps and improving noise control.
The absorber is self-adhesive, making installation quick and secure, while the fire-retardant formulation meets FMVSS302 standards, ensuring it’s safe for use in vehicle interiors.
With its 7mm low-profile design, it is especially suited for use behind trim panels, door cards, headliners, and speaker surrounds. It is not recommended for use underfoot or on flooring surfaces.
