The Elwis Pro TL2000-R rechargeable LED task light delivers a powerful white light of 2000 lumens from a 20 W SMD LED. A high colour rendering index (CRI ‰¥ 80+) means the beam resembles that of sunlight, making colours appear more clearly to the human eye and also reduces eye strain. This combined with the widespread light and diffused lens, makes it perfect for up close inspection such as painting, in car workshops, or work such as an electrician or plumber, as the colours are seen more accurately. The light is operated using the central red power button located on the back of the light. Press once for low (40% power), a second time for high and a third time to turn the light off again. When the battery is low the lamp will flash 4-6 times to indicate that the battery will run-out in 10 minutes and should be charged, and the battery power indicators on the back can be checked any time during in use to see what the battery level is at. Utilising a 11.1 V 4000 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack, the TL2000-R provides a run-time of up to 2 hours, 30 minutes on the high setting. The battery is recharged by inserting the included mains adaptor into the charging port by lifting the red dust cover and then plugging the 3 pin adaptor into the mains socket. There is a series of LED indicators, the first one is red followed by four green LEDs. When the light is plugged in to charge the first light will begin to flash, eventually turning solid and then the next light will start to flash and continue until all five lights turn solid to show a full charge, which takes approximately 5 hours, 30 minutes when the battery is completely drained. In addition to the light function, the TL2000-R also has a power bank feature and can charge external devices via the standard USB-A port located next to the charging port. To charge an external device simply plug the USB-A end of the required cable for your device into the USB-A port on the light, press the small red button next to the port and the device should begin charging. For hands free use the light has an adjustable kick stand so the light can freely stand up, and this can be rotated 180° for use as a handing hook or can be used as a carry handle. There is also a hold in the stand to attach a magnet or tripod for further hands free capabilities.
