The Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120-16 merges the functionality of an inverter and charger into a compact and powerful system. With true sine wave output, it provides stable and clean AC power, essential for sensitive electronics. The adaptive charging system optimizes the charging process, ensuring the battery is maintained efficiently, while hybrid PowerAssist technology prevents the overload of limited AC sources such as generators or shore power connections.
The PowerAssist feature detects potential overload conditions and first reduces the charging rate of the battery. If the overload condition persists, the system boosts the power output of the external AC source by drawing power from the battery, ensuring that connected loads continue to receive power without disruption.
In the event of a grid failure or disconnection from shore or generator power, the MultiPlus automatically switches to inverter mode within 20 milliseconds, providing uninterrupted AC power to critical loads, such as computers and electronics.
The MultiPlus supports parallel operation with up to 6 units for increased power output and can be configured for three-phase or split-phase operation. The system's integration capabilities are enhanced with remote monitoring and control via the VRM app and VRM portal, allowing users to manage their energy system from anywhere in the world.
