The alarm output is a short-circuit-proof open collector output typically used to activate a buzzer, LED, or relay.
For precise control, the device incorporates delayed load disconnect and reconnect functions. The load disconnects 90 seconds after an alarm, with a provision to remain connected if the battery voltage increases within this timeframe. The load will be reconnected 30 seconds after the battery voltage has increased to more than the preset reconnect voltage.
A special setting for Li-ion batteries makes the BatteryProtect 12/24V-220A compatible with the VE.Bus BMS, enhancing control and functionality. Notably, the device features ultra-low current consumption, making it particularly suitable for Li-ion batteries, especially after a low voltage shutdown. Combining durability with efficiency, it features IP67 protection for electronics and IP00 for connections. Its M8 connection and lack of Bluetooth functionality contribute to its reliability.
