The Victron Energy Battery Balancer effectively maintains an equal state of charge between two series-connected 12V batteries or across several parallel strings. Activating when the charge voltage of a 24V battery system surpasses 27V, the balancer draws up to 1A from the battery with the higher voltage, creating a charge differential that equalises all batteries in the system. For larger setups, such as a 48V battery bank, multiple balancers can be used in parallel for optimal balancing. The balancer features LED indicators for easy status monitoring and includes an alarm relay with reset functionality for enhanced system safety and control.
