The CHS21-4.8 is a high-performance heat shrink tubing designed to provide durable insulation and protection for small cables and wire connections. Manufactured from flame-retardant polyolefin, it features low smoke emission, zero halogen content, and generates no dioxins if burned, making it a safer choice in confined or poorly ventilated areas.
With superior electrical and physical properties, including excellent abrasion resistance, acid fastness, and corrosion resistance, it’s suitable for a range of environments and industries from electronics to automotive and beyond.
The tubing shrinks at 90°C with a 2:1 shrink ratio, enabling a tight, protective seal over wire splices and terminals. Operating across a wide temperature range (-55°C to +125°C), the CHS21-4.8 ensures long-lasting performance under both high and low thermal conditions.
Available in a variety of colours for identification purposes - including Black, White, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Brown, Earth (Yellow/Green), Clear, and Grey.
